Topic: Siemens Simpad

Hello,
I installed Read Gear CE 4.1 for use with a
Sierra Wireless Aircard 850.
The aircard works like a dream on it's own Watcher programme.
The only thing is that my device will not turn of any more (it freezes when pushing the suspend button).

After a soft reset, and deleting the Sierra Watcher software is suspends normal.

So there is a conflict, can you help?

The Aircard 850 is only compatible with CE .NET 4.2. RedGear is meant to enhance software compatibility only. Any help that it happens to provide for hardware is a coincidence and not supported in any way.

Thanks for your reply.
Obviously Read Gear makes the drivers from the 3G Watcher almost compatible, so this is my loss,
since CE.NET 4.2 is not available (I can not find it anywhere).

Thanks for this explanation, since I don't have any of this hardware; now anyone else with this question will be able to read how to use the Aircard.

It's too bad the CE 4.2 upgrade is no longer being sold for the Simpad.
